Haters gonna hate

Internet is a tricky place and you can not only not get the help/love/reaction you wanted but you can easily get hurt here 💔.

People tend to think that they are anonymous and/or untracable in the Internet. They think that because they don’t talk to you face to face they can write whatever they want. 😐
⚠️ NO! ⚠️
This is not how this should work.
So, please don’t do it. 🙏

If you see a photo here on Instagram and you don’t like the way someone is dressed just ignore it 🤷🏼‍♀️. Keep scrolling. If someone uploads a video of them singing and you don’t like it – ignore it. Don’t like it, don’t comment it.
If you heard someone singing on the street would you approach them and say „I hate the way you sing 😡”? No, you probably wouldn’t. If you saw a girl in a train in an awful dress that makes her look unattractive would you say „You look disgusting in that 🤢”? No, you wouldn’t.
Same way don’t leave hateful comments under people’s photos. Just let them be.

Unless they ask for an honest opinion don’t say anything. You wouldn’t like for other haters to spam your page with hateful comments, would you? 🤔
But if they do ask for an honest opinion and you don’t like e.g. the way a boy sings, say it in a delicate way. Don’t be a hater! ⚠️ You can always say a bitter truth in a nice way, remember that 🙏. For example, say „Maybe you should keep on practicing, I’m sure you’ll be better and better!” or „I don’t think that’s the song for you. Perhaps try a different one?”. See?

Please don’t spread hate.
We don’t want that here.

Bad days

We all have bad days from time to time. Dwayne Johnson, Elon Musk, J.K. Rowling or whoevere your mentor is, have them too. And that’s ok. 👍
You don’t have to shine everyday, you’re not a Sun! 😉

If you’re feeling off, just take a day off. Have good sleep 🛌, meditate and calm yourself 🧘🏼‍♀️, watch a good movie 🎬 and relax 😇. Get yourself some new energy to get up the next day and get back on your track. 🤩

The worst thing you can do on a day like this is to keep pushing even though you don’t feel like it. Honestly. ⚠️
Why? Because you’ll only get discouraged and you’ll most likely give up on your dreams.👎 Days like this are most common reason why people give up. Because they push too hard, because it makes them not like the path they’re going, because it repels them from going forward.

You’re not feeling well? Don’t push it. Have a day off and get back to your dreams tomorrow.

Don’t worry over small things!

Do you know the rule of 1 year?
If somethings bothers you but it’s some small thing that you won’t remember about in 1 year, you shouldn’t worry about it! ⚠️
Don’t waste time crying or getting stressed about some things (or people) that won’t matter in a year! It means they don’t matter now!

For examle, if you had a misunderstanding with a friend, you did something wrong at work, you broke your favourite cup or some guy said something uncool to you – shake it off and forget about it. 🤗 We’ve got too little time in this precious life to spend it worring about unimportant things! 😉

Stop & rest

Do you know when to stop & relax?
Are you setting yourself goals that you NEED TO do before taking some time off?

You need to know when to stop.⚠️
There will always be something to do but you need to learn to put it aside undone and have some time for yourself. You won’t work well without rest anyway!

It was hard for me, some time ago, to stop working and start chilling when I didn’t finish what I was doing. I kept going and going until it was done.
Today I set myself times when I start relax time and when it comes I just leave work and go rest. For example, I work till 9pm at my music agency or blog stuff (or doing chores at home or anything else) and whatever I manage to do till that time will be done and the rest I’ll do the next day. The world won’t end if I do the laundry the next day or send some emails the following morning. 🤷🏼‍♀️

You need to proritise your relax time too. Don’t push it further and further. Just put work/chores/anything else aside and chill. You’ll get back to that tomorrow.

BUT
It’s not only about small one-day activities. We keep setting new goals one after another after another. We succeeded in one thing, we got to our finish line and we want more and more and we keep pushing our finish line further and further instead of appreciating what we’ve achieved in the 1st place.🤷🏼‍♀️

Don’t run forward. Stop and rest from time to time. Celebrate your successes, enjoy what you achieved, have some rest and then set new goals.😘 —

Mondays – yay or nay

How do you feel about Mondays?

Do you hate them? Do you get up unhappy? Are you counting days down to Friday?
🔅
If you feel unhappy Monday to Friday and you live only for the weekends there is something seriously wrong. 💔
Weekdays take 5/7 of a week (duuuh 😅) and so days from Monday to Friday, workdays, take 5/7th of your life. That is over 70%! Do you want to be unhappy 70% of your life? 💔

If you really can’t stand workdays and you’re only happy during the weekend then you need to make a BIG CHANGE. Either with your attitude, hobbies or simply change your job if that’s what makes you so miserable.🤷🏼‍♀️

Try to do some fun stuff in the evenings of workdays too. You can go to a cinema on a Tuesday after work, you can meet with a friend on a Wednesday and go bowling on a Thursday. Whatever makes you happy, do it during weekdays too!

It is finally summer time so you can take nice walks, go on a bike ride or go geocaching with a friend (if you  don’t know what Geocaching is go to my stories highlights and watch „Ideas for FUN” part. I’m going to put some ideas for fundays in that section from time to time so you can use it during weekdays too!) everyday after work.

If that doesn’t help and your Mondays still suck cause you get up frustrated that you need to go to work…maybe just change it? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Try doing what you like. Ideally follow your passion and make it your job but if that’s impossible (although I believe that with hard work it never is 💪) try to think what you like doing and match it with some workplace.

Try googling if your city council has a work advisor that can sit down with you, talk to you, find out what you like and help you find a job that you’d like going to. I know my city has a whole bunch of people who do that so perhaps there is something similiar in your city too.

Seriously, life is not worth living if you’re unhappy most of the time. Try and make your job likable. Try changing something so that you’d wake up on Monday with a smile! 😊

International Children’s Day

Do you still have an inner-kid inside you?

Being an adult is extremely hard and stressful. Do you remember how easy and cool it was to be a child? To play all they? To not worry about anything? To be reckless and happy?

Maybe we can take a break from being a stiff formal adult from time to time?
😊
I’m not saying loose it all and start a reckless irresponsible life but maybe we could have a day to just be a kid again? To just play, have fun and not worry about anything? I think we should! 😊

As it is International Children’s Day today (we celebrated it last weekend in Poland) let loose and have fun! Stop worrying, stop planning, stop organizing and scheming. All your duties can wait, all your problems will wait too. Just take a day off and let your inner kid out! 🤗🤗🤗

Freedom

What is freedom to you?

Yesterday was 30th anniversary of 1st free election in Poland after WWII. Anniversary of that historic day that changed everything. Events that actually started whole movement in Europe (Czech Republic and Germany were next).

June 4th 1989 was when Communism ended in Poland. It was the day when we gained freedom again.

I was standing at a concert held due to this anniversary yesterday (check on my stories) and heard elders talking about that day. We were shown news and documentaries of what 80s looked like in Poland. It was times of Martial Law here in 1981-1983. There were plenty strikes then (it all actually started in my city Gdańsk), people were fighting for freedom. My parents told me many times how awful those times were. How they couldn’t go and buy anything they wanted in a store (there was food rationing, every family could buy certain amount of bread, potatoes, toilet paper, soap etc. per month), how they couldn’t leave house and walk on the streets in the evenings, how they couldn’t talk openly about politics or even use word „freedom”!, how media couldn’t write the truth but only what the government told them to print/say on the news…

I was born 2 years after we gained freedom again and those horrible times ended. My brothers were 6-7 years old then though. They had few toys, hardly had any clothes. Can you imagine that?

So I was standing at this concert yesterday and was thinking how lucky I am to live now, in those better times.  Can you imagine not being able to say what you think? To be forced to keep spreading lies? To be punished for saying what you feel? To not be FREE?

What is freedom to you? Because being able to say what we want, to do what we want, to buy what we want is freedom to me. And all those people, including my parents, my aunts, uncles and young brothers didn’t have that then.

I am so grateful that I am able to do all those things nowadays. I am so grateful to be able to travel (Polish people couldn’t go abroad during Martian Law!). I am so grateful for FREEDOM.
