I want you to pour yourself a glass of wine (or whatever your guilty pleassure drink is ๐Ÿ˜) and turn your favourite movie or tv show on! ๐Ÿ“บ
I know it’s not a ground breaking or original idea but I want you to promise me that you’ll really do it and you’ll have that 2h (at least) to yourself! If not today then this weekend ๐Ÿ˜Š

SELF-LOVE
Turn tv off, turn social media off (apart from @smileysociety of course ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‚), stop listening to news and just relax.
What’s happening out there, is happening out there ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ and as it doesn’t concern you as long as you are at home ๐Ÿก.
Look at it as extra time at home to read a book you’ve always wanted to read, to watch a movie or tv shows everybody is telling you about ๐ŸŽฌ, to take up some new hobby like decoupage or playing guitar ๐ŸŽธ, do yoga ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ, do home fitness ๐Ÿ’ช or do coloring like me ๐Ÿ˜
I find it sooo relaxing ๐Ÿ˜

Turn off your tv.
Turn off your radio.
Put your phone down and have a moment to yourself โค
Calm down.
Relax.
Forget for a moment about the world out there, just let it be.
Get a blanket, make yourself some nice tea, light some nice candles, put on some calm relaxing music and soak into a good book.
This is your time.
I personally recommend “The Organized Mind” by Daniel Levitin.
It will show you how to organize your thoughts, how to deal with stress and get rid of chaos in your head ๐Ÿคฏ

1. Mix all ingredients (or blend) until it is smooth paste
2. Put it on your face, leave it on for 10-15min, wash it off with warm water.

How are you guys? Have you picked a day for your self-love time? I hope you did cause today I’m gonna show you an idea for quick home-made SPA! ๐Ÿง–โ€โ™€๏ธ

Have you ever made your own cosmetic? Today I’m gonna tell you how to quickly prepare a home-made natural scrub.
All you need is:
๐Ÿ”ธ๏ธ1 glass of bown sugar
๐Ÿ”ธ๏ธ1/2 glass of coconut oil
๐Ÿ”ธ๏ธgrapefruit peel
๐Ÿ”ธ๏ธjuice squeezed out of fresh grapefruit
โฃ
1. Mix coconut oil with sugar
2. Add grapefruit peel and juice
3. Gently mix everything

And that’s it!
Your 100% natural scrub is ready!
Now go use it (it will leave your skin a bit oily and sticky, just use lots of warm water to wash it off) and get some magazine or book for a chill evening! ๐Ÿ˜š

You know how I divide my week into tasks and asign each day to one of my projects (yes, I love planning and being organized ๐Ÿ™ˆ)? So e.g. every Monday I work on my blog and prepare all posts for the upcoming week, every Tuesday I do research for my 2nd bookโ€ฆetc etc. Thursdays used to be kind of โ€žOthersโ€ section when I did some other stuff… Now itโ€™s time to asign a permament thing for Thursdays and this is what my new section is going to be about โ€“ SELF-LOVE ๐Ÿ™โค

Thatโ€™s right. I decided to plan couple hours of every Thursday to spend, well, with me!ย ๐Ÿ˜Šย Either reading ๐Ÿ“–, doing yoga ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ(I plan to start practicing it), doing some home SPA or anything else that is relaxing. And I advice you to do the same! ๐Ÿ˜‰

We all need that time for ourselves, to get our thoughts together, to feel good in your own skin, to just relax and rest from everybody else.

You need to have some time for the relationship you have with yourself! ๐Ÿค— You canโ€™t share love and love others until you love yourself, until you feel good with yourself! ๐Ÿ˜‰ We all need Self-love.

So from now on, every Thursday, Iโ€™ll be sharing with you my ideas for those Self-Love days. Either recommending a good book for you to to read ๐Ÿ“–, uploading a recipe for some good (but fit! ๐Ÿ˜‰) food (letโ€™s come back to Comfort Food section ๐Ÿช) or even showing you how to make some home-made cosmetics for your home natural SPA ๐Ÿง–โ€โ™€๏ธ.

And as for a task for today โ€“ pick a day in your week to have those Self-Love days. It doesnโ€™t have to be Thursday like me. It can be during weekend too. Just pick it and mark it in your calendar ๐Ÿ“† for good. Itโ€™s not about a whole day, just 2-4h for yourself.

You can do it. You HAVE TO do it. If you think that you donโ€™t have that much time for yourselfโ€ฆ.wellโ€ฆmaybe itโ€™s time to rearrange some things, to rearrange some prorities ๐Ÿ˜‰. After all youโ€™ll have that โ€žme, myself & Iโ€ relationship your whole life. You need to make it work. You need to feel good in it. You need to love yourself ๐Ÿ™โค
