We all tend to appreciate something more once we lose it π€. We miss a friend we’ve lost even though we found him/her so irritating when he/she was around π€·πΌββοΈ. The second you lose something you realise how much you’ve liked and needed it yet you’ve never thought about it when you still had that thing with you π€.

You probably never been grateful for being able to travel or to party or to simply go to a restaurant and to have a nice dinner, have you? Yet once we’ve lost those options last year we’ve realised how important those options are for us. To be able to see your friends, to see a band you love live or to simply leave your house without fear.

I think 2020 and 2021 have taught us a lot, especially not to take ANYTHING for granted. We need to appreciate everything we own, every moment we experience, every day simply living π
That’s the key to gratitude and to a happy life π

So now as we’re slowly getting back to normality, as we’re slowly getting all the options to eat out, to see our friends, to travel again let’s all appreciate even more π Lets all appreciate that sip of coffee in a coffehouse that has been closed for months, lets all appreciate every step we take outside our houses we’ve been in for so long. Lets appreciate it all AND, what’s most important, lets make that feeling of appreciation and gratitude stick with us for good πβ€

Spring time = time to bloom!
This autumn and winter has been tough but spring is finally here and you know what spring means? It is all about blooming, growing and basically starting new life! π€

And it’s not only about trees, grass and flowers, no no! Having those couple tough past months behind us we are ready to leave it all behind and bloom! π€

I’ve had plenty plans for 2020, I have even more plans for 2021 yet with all that stress and still not being able to find that energy back past-covid I’ve been powerless, lazy and tired all the time lately πͺ

But that’s ok! There’s still plenty of 2021 left so we can all still get back to working on our projects, pursue our dreams and reach our goals! π€

Spring is here which also means that the day is longer, sun is shining and we get more vitamine D from the Sun so we should be more energetic and more willing to work! π
You just have to get up and take that 1st step! π

β‘οΈ Need to please everyone around you π β not everyone deserves your time and effort, focus more on yourself! π€

Everybody is scared of something new, something unknown but it is so worth to take the risk usually and change e.g. your job, school or even a partner! π If you feel that itβs a good change but youβre scared of it, go for it! πͺ It might be scary at first but in some time youβll be glad you did it! π
β‘οΈ Overthinking and excessive analyzing everything π€― β just stop! β Donβt worry about problems that arenβt here, donβt analyze a situation that hasnβt happened yet! Stop imagining future problems and just focus on here & now π

I hope you had great New Years’s Eve and that even though 2020 has been tough for all of us you can remember couple good things about it and focus on that π
:::
For me positive things about 2020 are:
π I got to work from home that I dreamed of for such a long time π
π I bought a camera and got back to taking more pictures, I learned how to edit them better or how to do some ‘tricks’ in Photoshop
π I started working on my 2nd novel
π I grew @smileysociety and got plenty new faces here π
:::
Now it’s time for new plans, new dreams and as January usually is a month of new beginnings, new projects and some changes I want to bring you as much motivation as possible!
So starting on Monday there will be:
β‘οΈ1-2 inspirational stories per week to show you some stories of people who have succeeded
β‘οΈ motivational excercises in our Smiley Future series on Tuesdays
β‘οΈ healthy recipes on Insta stories for those who start a diet and want to lose weight
β‘οΈ and more!

As for 2021 I have BIG plans for this year. I want to write 2nd novel, do a special ebook (more on that in couple months), go back to University and study psychology and possibly change job. Plus I’m turning 30 this year π
so there will be plenty celebrations and a big trip in October π
