Homemade Rose Petal Face Mask For Glowing Skin (no, that’s not the mask on my face on the photo 😅)
🔸️a few rose petals, washed 🥀
🔸️2 tbsp of milk 🥛
🔸️2 tbsp of oats powder
🔸️1 tbsp of honey (optional) 🍯
➡️ Step 1: Add rose petals to the milk and make a paste (Yes! the color would be purple and not pink if you do it right).
➡️ Step 2: Add the powdered oats to this mixture.
➡️ Step 3: If you are using honey, then add it at this moment.
Your homemade face mask is ready ☺️.
➡️ Step 4: Apply it on your face and neck and keep it for 20 minutes. Wait till it dries off completely, then wash it off with warm water in a circular motion.
➡️ Step 5: Soak a cotton ball in cold water and dab it on your face lightly and feel your skin.

Papaya Skin-Brightening Face Mask 🤩
This is a very simple face mask meant to bring a natural glow back to your complexion. You’ll get rid of those dead, dry skin cells thanks to the natural exfoliator in the Papaya, leaving your skin bright and beautiful 🥰. Not only does honey help bind this all together, it will also soothe your skin.
What You Need:
🔸️ ½ cup of mashed papaya
🔸️ 1 teaspoon of honey 🍯
🔸️ 1 whipped egg white 🥚
Make the Mask:
➡️ Separate your egg white and whisk it until it has a soft whipped texture.
➡️ Cut and mash your papaya. If you have food processor, this step is super simple! If not, just cut up the papaya and mash it by hand with a potato masher or sturdy fork.
➡️ Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
Use the Mask:
Make sure your face is clean. You don’t need to scrub, just a good rinse with warm water and pat it dry with a towel. Then carefully apply the mask with your fingers, making sure to avoid the area around your eyes 😊.
Sit back and relax and let the mask sit for 10-15 minutes. Practice a little mindfulness or meditation while you let the mask sit 🧘♀️. When the time is up, wash the mask off with warm water and scrub your face well to really exfoliate.

You know what works when you’re trying to calm down? A blanket, candle and a nice cup of tea. So today I got 5 magical herbs for you that work great on reducing stress:
🌱 Saint John’s wort: It contains many chemicals that act on messengers in the brain that regulate mood.
People most commonly use St. John’s wort for depression and mood disorders (but consult it with doctor as it often gets in reaction with others drugs!!!)
🌱 Aloe vera for cuts and burns: It is used to treat burns and alleviate the symptoms of over-exposure to the sun by pouring the tea on the affected area. Aloe can also help treat skin conditions such as rashes or insect bites.
🌱 Chamomile for sleeplessness and to reduce anxiety
🌱 Echinacea for colds and sore throat and to boost immune system
🌱 Ginger for nausea and motion sickness.

🔸️ ½ cup coconut oil
🔸️ 1½ – 2 cups sugar
🔸️ tbs peppermint extract
🔸️ 1 drop green food coloring
➡️ Warm up the coconut oil into liquid
➡️ Add sugar
➡️ Start by adding 1½ cups sugar to the oil, along with the peppermint extract and green food coloring.
➡️ Mix until ingredients are well combined and food coloring is evenly distributed.
➡️ If mixture is too wet, add another ½ cup sugar until scrub is to desired consistency.
➡️ Spoon scrub into air-tight containers (such as a mason jar) and decorate with twine or ribbon😊🎁
Avocado 🥑 is rich in vitamin E which helps moisturise your hair and make it thicker. The potassium, natural oils, carbohydrates and vitamins in bananas help soften and protect your hair from breakage 💪.
To make the mask:
➡️ 1. Mash together one medium-sized ripe avocado 🥑 and one small ripe banana 🍌.
➡️ 2. Add one tablespoon each of olive oil and wheat germ oil to this paste.
➡️ 3. Gently massage this mix into your hair, covering the roots and tips 🧖♀️.
➡️ 4. After 30 minutes, rinse with cold water and shampoo.
Tip: For best results, use this mask twice a week.
Homemade natural face powder is the easiest makeup to make! Just three ingredients and suddenly you’ve made your own face powder for practically pennies! 😃
➡️ Arrowroot Powder
This is the safer version of cornstarch. Not that cornstarch is horribly unsafe but it can pose allergy issues and is often made from GMO’s, thus I prefer to use arrowroot over cornstarch but the two are interchangeable.
➡️ Cocoa Powder
Not only does cocoa powder act as the main coloring ingredient in this DIY but it’s also beneficial for your skin! 😃Cocoa powder contains antioxidants which helps heal and repair any skin damage.
This spice does provide a tiny bit of coloring but it is also helpful for acne.
🔸️ 2 Tbs. arrowroot powder
🔸️ 1/2 tsp. cocoa powder
🔸️ 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
🔸️ 2 Tbs. arrowroot powder
🔸️ 1 1/2 tsp. cocoa powder
🔸️ 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
🔸️ 2 Tbs. arrowroot powder
🔸️ 1 Tbs. cocoa powder
🔸️ 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
➡️ Place ingredients into a bowl.
➡️ Mix well, use the back of a spoon to break up any cocoa powder clumps.
➡️ Start out with the shade closest to your skin tone but to get a perfect match you may need to add more cocoa powder or cinnamon.
➡️ Transfer to a clean jar or old compact container.
Lightly apply to a makeup brush and apply as you would normally 😃. Go lightly however, as this is a loose powder and you do not need much.
Pomegranates have been cultivated since ancient times, and science has found surprising benefits for this amazing fruit😊. Research shows that the seeds may slow aging, halt the spread of cancer and improve heart health.
What’s more, this tasty treat is low in calories 😉 (only around 105 for an average-sized fruit) in addition to being loaded with nutrients. High in vitamin C and potassium, the bright red fruit also boasts high levels of antioxidants.
And if you eat the seeds rather than drinking the tangy juice, you’ll have added fiber in your diet as well 😉
🔸️ 2-3 tablespoons of honey 🍯
🔸️ 1/2 cup crushed pomegranate seeds with the juice
🔸️ 1/2 cup white sugar
➡️ Start by cutting open the fruit. Make a slit with a sharp knife and then pry the halves open. You can do this in the sink or in a bowl of water to prevent the deep dark red juice from splattering and potentially staining your clothes or counter 😉
➡️ Once the fruit is open, start picking the seeds off. Again, you can do this while the fruit is submerged in a bowl of water. The seeds will sink and the white fleshy part floats making it easy to separate.
➡️ Pour the honey into a bowl and add the seeds. Crush the seeds with a wooden spoon. Add the sugar and stir. You can use more sugar if you want a thicker scrub.
You can either leave the crushed seeds in the scrub or remove them after you’ve juice them.
Caffeine ☕ is a favorite ingredient in many anti-aging products because it helps tighten skin, reduces redness, reduces puffiness, and even helps with under eye circles ☺. It’s even said to help with cellulite so you might want to give it a try on other parts of your body!
Chocolate 🍫 is full of antioxidants which are great for keeping your skin youthful and healthy. It’s also great for making skin soft and smooth.
Coconut milk 🥥🥛 helps hydrate skin keeping it smooth and soft. Because of it’s amazing hydrating properties, it is wonderful on dry skin.
1 tbs cocoa powder 🍫
1 tbs coffee grounds ☕ (fresh will give you the most caffeine benefits but used coffee grounds works fine too)
2-3 tbs coconut milk 🥥🥛 (use coconut milk.)
➡️ Mix all ingredients together.
➡️ Once the face mask is thoroughly mixed, apply to a clean face.
➡️ Allow mask to remain on your face for 15-20 minutes 🧖♀️
➡️ Carefully wash off face with warm water and washcloth.

Sugar scrubs are very easy and cheap to make 😁. To make pumpkin spice sugar scrub, you will need:
🔸️ coconut oil 🥥
🔸️ brown sugar
🔸️ pumpkin pie spice 🎃
The ratio of coconut oil to sugar is 2:1. Fill two small jars and use 1 cup of coconut oil and 1/2 cup of brown sugar. Place coconut oil into a blender and blend until smooth. Add the brown sugar and 1 tsp of pumpkin pie spice and blend together. If you want the scrub a bit coarser, add more brown sugar until you get the consistency that you would like 😃
Transfer the scrub to a jar and add a pretty tag 😍🎁
This homemade honey balm is the perfect antidote for all your dry-skin woes 😊. Just slather on a little bit in the morning and wave goodbye to dry, cracked, irritated hands. For an added boost, apply before bed, cover with cotton gloves, and let this recipe work magic on your hands overnight.
In addition to its calming and healing properties, here are several other ways honey helps combat dry winter skin:

🔸️ Balances skin pH
🔸️ Natural moisturizer
✔ 1/4 cup coconut oil 🥥
✔ 1/4 cup almond oil
✔ 1/4 cup olive oil
✔ 5 tablespoons beeswax pastilles
✔ 1 tablespoon shea butter
✔ 1-1/2 tablespoons raw honey 🍯
✔ Essential oils of your choice
➡️ Combine everything except for the raw honey and essential oils in a microwave safe bowl.
➡️ Microwave in 30-second increments for 1–2 minutes, until the oils and beeswax have completely melted. Alternatively, you can use a double boiler to melt your oils.
➡️ Place the bowl of melted oils in the freezer for about 2 minutes. When you take it out, the mixture should be solid around the edges but still liquid in the middle.
➡️ Stir for about 15 seconds until the mixture comes together almost like a thick batter.
➡️ Add the honey and essential oils. Stir again.
➡️ Spoon the balm into a lidded glass container, and pop it into the refrigerator for 15 minutes to cool completely.Let the balm solidify before using 😚
