Confession pt.2

Continuing my last post…
Apart from gardening pastry cooking is also my new hobby. I love it how from couple seperate ingredients you can create something amazing, something delicious πŸ˜‹
While being focused & creative in the kitchen I forget about problems, about others things to do…I am present just here & now.
I’ve done macaroons couple times now and I’m getting better and better at it and my next challenge will be red velvet cake pops – have you ever made it? Or macaroons? πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‹
I love creating stuff whether it is some DIY home decor or some jewelry or in the kitchen..
I feel that being creative truly calms my mind and makes me happy 😊
And there will be some special project about me being creative soon so stay tuned! πŸ˜€


SELF LOVE: 30 ways of practicing self-love and self-care pt.2

Time for 2nd part of our 30 ways of practicing self-love and self-care! Last week we did first 6, now time for 6 more! πŸ€—
30 ways of practicing self-love/self-care:
πŸ”ΈοΈ 7. Have some propper me-time. If you don’t live by yourself be open about it and simply ask your partner or roommate to leave you by youreslf because you need some time by yourself. I learned that last year to simply tell my husband that I need e.g. to watch some girly movie by myself, I leave him by himself in living room and go to bedroom to have some me-time πŸ˜‰
πŸ”ΈοΈ 8. Practice gratitude πŸ™ – we have so many things to be grateful for! Your health, your close ones,  roof over your head, your surrounding… notice what you really have! 😊 So many people lack it and dream of those things!
πŸ”ΈοΈ 9. Be creative! 🀩 Put your emotions on paper and write a story or take some paints and try painting! πŸŽ¨ If you’re not a fan of those 2 activities you can try decoupaging, knitting, taking pictures, singing, playing some instruments… there are so many ways to be creative! πŸ€— This is what got me through lockdown! Coloring is what makes me relaxed, gets my thoughts away and lets me calm down so I got this BrushMe set πŸ˜€ – you get a painting with a set of paints with numbers and all you need to do is to paint right color in the right spot and you can create an amazing picture like I did here! Have you tried one of those?
πŸ”ΈοΈ 10. Spend as much time in nature as possible! 😍 Especially now, in the spring/summer! 🌞 Fresh air and nice views make us calmer and more energetic!
πŸ”ΈοΈ 11. End all toxic relationships πŸ˜‰. Anyone who makes you feel anything less than amazing doesn’t deserve to be a part of your life. If you get/havve a hater in social media – block him/her immediately. We don’t need that 🚫
πŸ”ΈοΈ 12. Celebrate your wins no matter how big or small πŸ˜€. Pat yourself on the back and be proud of what you have achieved!

5 Ways How to be More Creative

➑️ 1.Β Β Get tired physically πŸ’ͺ
Not only it is scientifically proven that we’re more creative when we’re tired 😴 but a research has also shown that physical exercise helps to force you to adopt a more creative mindset using the right half of the brain 🧠. Exercise also increases blood flow and oxygen to the brain, which sharpen mental clarity.
➑️ 2. Embrace boredom 😳
Try putting social media, TV and all devices away. Get bored on purpose πŸ™„. Just lay down and let your mind wander 😍. A research shows that being bored actually propels us towards deeper thinking and creativity 🀯. The theory goes that a bored mind searches for stimulation, which moves it into the daydreaming state, which leads to new ideas 😎.
➑️ 3. Watch a TED talk or listen to a podcast πŸŽ™
Nothing makes me more creative than being motivated by seeing others succeed! 🀩 And where to find that motivation, listen to successful people talk? Try any TED talk and you will be amazed! πŸ˜‰
➑️ 4. Generate way more ideas than you think you actually need ☺
People who are able to generate a lot of ideas (good and not-so-good) are much more likely to have a couple of brilliant ideas hidden in the mix than those who only come up with a couple of ideas to begin with πŸ‘. Block out time for free writing and come up with as many ideas around a problem as your brain can generate, even if they seem silly. As Thomas Edison said, β€œGenius is one percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration.”
5. Make time to play πŸŽͺ
Studies show that when we fully immerse ourself in just doing what we enjoy β€” in other words, getting out of our own heads β€” it stimulates outside-the-box thinking and silences our inner critic 😊. Tinker with toys, build something, get outside… and most importantly, think like a kid! πŸ˜€
