I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – the way you start your day has HUGE impact on the rest of your day! ⚠️ And it’s all up to you! If you wake up thinking „Ugh, it’s gonna be a tough day 😑” it is gonna be in fact a tough day 😉. If you get up from bed thinking how much you don’t feel like doing anything it will stay this way 😪 – you won’t feel like doing anything 🤷♀️. If you start the day with negative mindset the day won’t magically turn into a positive one 😉!

And so if you want to practice self-love/self-care throughout the day you need to start the day with the right mindset 😉!
➡️ 1. Think positive thought – something positive (can be small!) about the upcoming day 🤗

➡️ 2. Don’t think what you „HAVE TO” do that day. Think of it as an opportunity, as something you ‘GET TO’ do 😃
:::
➡️ 3. Write down positive affirmations for the day like „I can do it”, „I am enough”, „I am beautiful” etc 💪
:::
➡️ 4. Take care of your body – have a good nurtitous breakfast, take vitamins and stretch a bit 😋
:::
➡️ 5. Do something fun – dance to your favourite song 🎵, be goofy with your partner/kids 🤪 or anything else that will boost your energy and bring a smile on your face ☺️.
And now go conquer the world!

🔸️ 25. Give up the need for approval from others 😉
🔸️ 26. Be realistic. There is no person on this earth that is happy every single moment of every single day. You know why? Because we are all human 😉. The key is to stay positive DESPITE the negative situations 😀
🔸️ 27. Let go of past trauma and wounds. This can be a really tough one and it may be one of those times you need to turn to others for support. We don’t have to carry that around with us anymore. We deserve better 🤗
🔸️ 28. Find your happy place ❤. Where’s the one place you feel totally at ease, calm, happy, positive, high on life? Go to that place when you are going through hard times, or imagine yourself being there. Think about how it feels, what it smells like, what it looks like.
🔸️ 29. Remember that problems and/or tough situations make us stronger, wiser and better! We should learn from them and never give up! 😊
🔸️ 30. Have fun! 😜 Get out there and do the things that light your fire. Enjoy them, enjoy being you and enjoy your incredible life.

How did you like practicing gratitude towards your body last week? 🤔 Today I invite you to do this exercise but taking something totally different as the subject of gratitude 😉

➡️ Task for today: focus on what’s not material. Bring your attention to intangible reasons to be grateful, not related to owning something: going to a cinema with your friends 🎬 (maybe not nowadays but after covid era😅), having an evening to yourself 🧘🏼♀️, a smile of a stranger you pass by 😊, romantic dinner with your other half 😍, a nice workout 💪 – there are plenty examples

In the end this excercise might not be that easy as those moments – especially those small ones that you have everyday – easily get missed out on, you take them for granted 🤷🏼♀️. We tend to appreciate them from time to time only (when it’s somebody’s birthday, wedding, you attend your favourite concert etc).

Although due to pandemic I think we’re all gonna enjoy our first beer/drink🥂 in a pub after a lockdown, seeing a movie in a cinema 🎫 or attending a concert 🎶 much more than we used to couple years ago 😀.

If you want, you can start a special jar to „keep” special moments like those by putting notes with special memories of such moments 🤩. Thanks to it you’ll have the possibility of going back to them in hard/worse times simply by reading them and reminding of those good days 🤗. Apart from that, it feels good to see the jar getting full – this way you get a physical proof that you have plenty reasons to feel grateful every day! 😀

Surprised? I feel like we’re so often telling ourselves that we’re „fighting with ourselves”, „overcoming our weaknesses”, „changing for better” (do you see how negative those messages sound? 🙄) that word ‘pleasure’ is no longer in our vocabulary 😑. And it is really hard without it!

If what you’re doing doesn’t give you any pleasure it will be hard for you to last on this path longer than couple weeks 😉

That’s why a task for today is: find pleasure on your way of reaching your goal 🤩

Let’s see some examples:
➡️ If your goal is to lose weight: write down what type of physical activity you like most 🏊♂️⛹️♂️🚴♂️
➡️ If you’re setting up a new business: write down what part of your new challenge you like most, maybe you like creating a business plan? Or reaching our to clients? 💬

➡️ Turn some music you like on and make it nice background to your work 🎶

My 3 goals I’m focusing on now are: making @smileysociety big 🔝, writing 2nd novel 📖 and losing weight 💪 and what gives me pleasure in those projects are: with @smileysociety I love reading your comments and nice messages from all of you 📩, while working on my novel I love writing and letting all emotions go ✒, putting them on paper and as for losing weight – taking care of my health makes me happy 🤗, I feel good that I eat well but also – I love the feeling after a good workout! 💪

Be spontaneous! Drop that mop on a Saturday and instead of spending whole day cleaning your house call your friends and go bowling 🎳, to an aquapark 🏄♂️ or even for a roadtrip if possible! 🚙

Go to your favourite restaurant but skip you favourite meals and order something new 🤩! You won’t get to know new tastes and maybe even find you new favourite dish if you won’t be trying new things! 😉

And it works same way in life! Do something new! Take up a new hobby! 🤹♂️ Start some new course! 📚 Join some association and meet new people! 👥

Best memories are made when you leave your comfort zone and do something new, even if it’s scary, believe me! ☺

Being an adult is extremely hard and stressful. Do you remember how easy and cool it was to be a child? To play all they? To not worry about anything? To be reckless and happy?

I’m not saying loose it all and start a reckless irresponsible life but maybe we could have a day to just be a kid again? To just play, have fun and not worry about anything? I think we should! 😊

As it is International Children’s Day today (we celebrated it last weekend in Poland) let loose and have fun! Stop worrying, stop planning, stop organizing and scheming. All your duties can wait, all your problems will wait too. Just take a day off and let your inner kid out! 🤗🤗🤗
