Getting through problems

This year has been tough 😖, not only Covid-wise but I’ve been robbed & tricked recently 🙄, my grandma passed away 🖤, I’ve lost some friends 💔, I’ve had plenty days when I felt powerless…
I cried a lot, been shuting everything away and been hiding at home 😶

But I’m not telling you all this to make you feed sorry for me, no no. I’m telling you all this to show you that happy & positive people aren’t people without problems 😉. Happy & positive people are positive DESPITE their problems 💪

Everyone has some problems, each one of us is battling with something but the key is to not give up, to get through it and stand up wiser and stronger 💪.

I know I have learned a lot through my last experiences and definitely won’t make some mistakes again. You should learn from your problems and/or mistakes too! 😀

Little things

There is this saying, one of my favourites, „Not everyday is good but there is something good in everyday” and I so agree! 😊

Even though this year has been tough to all of us I am more than sure that we could find something good in all of those days! Like the color of the sky, smell of flowers or somebody being nice to you! 😊

Last 3 months have been very very tough for me, healthwise 🤕, workwise 🙄, many family issues 😟, some friends let me down 😏…believe me, it has not been easy 🤷🏼‍♀️ and in the end when I was thinking that the only positive issue this year (besides my covid test 2 months ago 😜) is my financial situation, I got half of my usual salary today 🤦🏼‍♀️ and even though it’s all good now and it turned out to be a mistake by somebody in HR I won’t get the missing half until January 🤷🏼‍♀️… so 2020 misery goes on 🙄

BUT! Even though it’s been so tough I managed to see some good in everyday, to get excited about something every week, to be happy despite all the problems and that’s how positive mind works! 😉

I’ve been admiring beautiful sunrises and sunsets 🌄 (I am pretty sure that the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets in Poland are in December), I’ve been veeeery creative and doing plenty DIY stuff that you’ve seen/see in Smiley Advent Calendar 😁, I’ve been doing silly sketches and dances with my husband to make our moods better 🤪, I’ve been admiring beautiful fruity smell of my favourite shower gel each day 😍, I’ve been more and more excited about upcoming Xmas creating beautiful Xmas decorations 🎄, I’ve been grateful for every help that I got either from a stranger on a street or from a colleague at work 😉… there is so much good around us we just need to notice it! 🤗

In order to make your life colorful you need to break your routine 😉 Being organized and having everything planned is cool and you know I am all for it but you need to get crazy sometimes too! 😜

Be spontaneous! Drop that mop on a Saturday and instead of spending whole day cleaning your house call your friends and go bowling 🎳, to an aquapark 🏄‍♂️ or even for a roadtrip if possible! 🚙

Go to your favourite restaurant but skip you favourite meals and order something new 🤩! You won’t get to know new tastes and maybe even find you new favourite dish if you won’t be trying new things! 😉

And it works same way in life! Do something new! Take up a new hobby! 🤹‍♂️ Start some new course! 📚 Join some association and meet new people! 👥

Best memories are made when you leave your comfort zone and do something new, even if it’s scary, believe me! ☺

You’ve probably already heard me saying „It’s all about mindset”, right?
Well, it is! 😉

You don’t have much impact on what is happening in the world 🤷🏼‍♀️ You can’t force some people to like you and say only nice things about you 🤷🏼‍♀️. Facts you hear in the news are facts and opinions that people share are their opinions and you can’t change them. But it is your decision what you’re gonna do with it 👊.

You can either let somebody’s opinion disturb you and make you feel bad or you can ignore it.
It’s your decision, your mindset.

You can either think about your day/week/life in negative light or look at it through pink glasses and notice only positive/good parts of it 🤗.

When you’re stuck at home now you can either look at it as a punishment and keep thinking of the things you cannot do these days or you can look at it as an opportunity to finally work on your projects 😉, to get back to reading 📖 now that you don’t have any distractions or events to go to, to finally start a new hobby you’ve always didn’t have time for 👩‍🍳.
It’s your decision, your mindset.

When you lose a job you can either become devastated, think of yourself as a loser and keep worrying 😫 or you can see it as a push to finally look for something better, to get the courage to get your dream job which you’ve always lacked in your previous job 💪

There’s no easy job and there’s no easy life without problems 🤷🏼‍♀️ The key is to always find good aspects and being grateful for the litthe things ❤. To decide to ignore/set aside the sad/dark/difficult stuff and focus on the good ones 🙏

Don’t let yourself be controlled by three things: people, money or past experiences ⚠️

Just focus on yourself, on your dreams, do your thing and money and people will come. And as it comes to past experiences, just draw conclussions, learn from your mistakes and move on.

Mondays – yay or nay

How do you feel about Mondays?

Do you hate them? Do you get up unhappy? Are you counting days down to Friday?

If you feel unhappy Monday to Friday and you live only for the weekends there is something seriously wrong. 💔
Weekdays take 5/7 of a week (duuuh 😅) and so days from Monday to Friday, workdays, take 5/7th of your life. That is over 70%! Do you want to be unhappy 70% of your life? 💔

If you really can’t stand workdays and you’re only happy during the weekend then you need to make a BIG CHANGE. Either with your attitude, hobbies or simply change your job if that’s what makes you so miserable.🤷🏼‍♀️

Try to do some fun stuff in the evenings of workdays too. You can go to a cinema on a Tuesday after work, you can meet with a friend on a Wednesday and go bowling on a Thursday. Whatever makes you happy, do it during weekdays too!

It is finally summer time so you can take nice walks, go on a bike ride or go geocaching with a friend (if you  don’t know what Geocaching is go to my stories highlights and watch „Ideas for FUN” part. I’m going to put some ideas for fundays in that section from time to time so you can use it during weekdays too!) everyday after work.

If that doesn’t help and your Mondays still suck cause you get up frustrated that you need to go to work…maybe just change it? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Try doing what you like. Ideally follow your passion and make it your job but if that’s impossible (although I believe that with hard work it never is 💪) try to think what you like doing and match it with some workplace.

Try googling if your city council has a work advisor that can sit down with you, talk to you, find out what you like and help you find a job that you’d like going to. I know my city has a whole bunch of people who do that so perhaps there is something similiar in your city too.

Seriously, life is not worth living if you’re unhappy most of the time. Try and make your job likable. Try changing something so that you’d wake up on Monday with a smile! 😊
