Have you seen those peel-off charcoal masks online? 🧖♀️ They’re fun to watch, but you don’t need to buy one 😉 You can make your own DIY Charcoal Peel-Off Mask with just 4 ingredients.
Servings: 1 use
🔸️1 capsule activated charcoal (about 1/4 to 1/3 tsp)
🔸️1/4 tsp bentonite clay
🔸️1 tsp non-flavored gelatin
🔸️2 drops tea tree essential oil
🔸️2 tsp boiling hot water
➡️ Remove make up and use a gentle cleanser to clean the face. Pat dry.
➡️ Open the activated charcoal capsule and add the contents to a small glass or ceramic bowl. Discard the empty capsule.
➡️ First, add bentonite clay and gelatin. Then add boiling water and mix well with a mini silicone spatula (avoid metal spoons as the metal may weaken the health properties of the bentonite clay). The gelatin will thicken up the mask. Add 1 drop tea tree oil and mix again.
➡️ Use a mask brush to apply a layer of the mask to the skin, avoiding eye brows and be careful not to get too close the eyes.
➡️ Apply mask rather quickly as the mask will continue to thicken up. If the mask in the bowl dries up sooner than you get to apply the mask, add a 1/2 to 1 tsp of boiling hot water again to make the mask liquid again to apply.
Once you have a thick layer of the mask on the skin, allow to dry about 20-30 minutes. You may need to wait longer depending on the thickness of the mask. You will feel a slight tingling sensation from the bentonite clay and tea tree oil, both help to remove impurities from the skin 😶
Once the mask is dry, start on an edge (chin or forehead) and slowly peel off the mask until it’s completely gone. You can use a warm washcloth to remove any remaining mask on the face.
Apply a toner and then follow with a moisturizer to keep the skin nourished 😍
Winter is so bad for hair! 😖 They get weaker and weaker with every temperature change and constant putting a hat on and off makes them electrify and dry 💔
Try this homemade hair mask to repair them 🤗
➡️ 1. Almond & egg
🔸️1/4 cup almond oil
🔸️1 raw egg 🥚
Combine the almond oil and egg until you get a smooth mixture. Optionally you can just whisk the egg and apply it to your hair 🤗
Section your hair and start applying the mixture to your scalp and through the length of your hair. 😊
Wait for 40 minutes and then rinse your hair as usual.
Use a good shampoo and conditioner, preferably one without sulfates.
Almond oil acts as an emollient. The egg repairs damage in the hair shaft with its high protein content. This is considered to be one of the best remedies for frizz ☺
➡️ 2.Beer mask! 😜
You Will Need
🔸️ 1 pint of beer 🍺
Decarbonate your beer by pouring it into a bowl. Let it sit overnight until it goes flat.
Wash your hair with shampoo and then pour the beer through your hair while massaging your scalp.
Rinse the beer out with cold water. 😊
Beer restores moisture and nourishes your hair 😀. It is also used as a cleansing rinse that removes build-up. This helps keep your cuticles healthy.
➡️ 3.Honey And Yogurt
You Will Need
🔸️2-3 tablespoons yogurt
🔸️1 tablespoon honey 🍯
Mix the honey and yogurt in a bowl.
Apply the mixture on your scalp and hair. Leave it on for 30 minutes.
Wash with cold water. 😊
Do this once a week to restore moisture and maintain your hair.
Yogurt is an effective deep conditioner and honey helps in retaining moisture. It also acts as an emollient and makes hair smoother and shinier. 🤗

Fall means pumpkins, and that means a lot of baked goods and other treats loaded up with it everywhere 😋. But you don’t have to stop there! You can make a Pumpkin Hair Mask! 🧖♀️🎃
Pumpkin has wonderful benefits for your hair and skin, not to mention the aromatherapy of smelling pumpkin pie while you relax during your homemade beauty treatment 😍.
Pumpkin is moisturizing. The vitamin A it contains is great for your scalp, and it encourages hair growth. Some people use cinnamon for dry brittle hair, to treat some forms of dandruff, and as a natural stimulant for hair growth 🤗. Finally, the coconut oil adds a conditioning layer to your hair, infusing it with softness and moisturizing your scal 🤩 Try this quick and simple hair mask this fall.
½ cup Pumpkin Puree 🎃
2 tsp. Coconut oil (unrefined)🥥
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 Vitamin E capsule
➡️ Mix pumpkin puree, cinnamon, vitamin E capsule, and coconut oil in a small bowl until thoroughly combined.
➡️ If your coconut oil is a solid, you may want to warm it in the microwave in 20 second increments until melted before mixing.
Calendula is known to help heal your skin, so it makes for the perfect beauty treatment! 💁🏼♀️
🔸️2 Tablespoons Greek Yogurt
🔸️1 Teaspoon calendula powder
➡️Mix the yogurt and calendula together until well combined
➡️ Apply the mixture to your clean face and neck area if desired
➡️ Let the mask ‘set’ for 15 minutes before washing off.
Depending on what essential oils you have on hand, it can be any scent. Eucalyptus, orange, rosemary 😍
🔸️ grapeseed oil 🍇
🔸️essential oil 👃
🔸️fresh lavender for wrapping
Good ratio is 3:1, so depending on the size jar you are using you could use 1 cup sugar to 1/3 cup oil, 3 cups sugar to 1 cup oil.
➡️ 1. Go ahead and mix your oil and sugar in a bowl together, and stir thoroughly.
➡️ 2.Once it becomes a slushy consistency, add your drops of essential oil. For a small container best to use 1 cup sugar, 1/3 cup oil, and about 8-10 drops of essential oil. You’ll know it’s the right amount when you mix it through and you can smell the fragrance nice and strong 😍
➡️ 3. Next take your fresh lavender and wrap twine around the bottom and then secure with a bow. You can label the top as well if you choose 🤗
What you will Need:
🔸️3 1/2 Tablespoon organic Shea butter
🔸️2 Tablespoons Jojoba oil
🔸️3 Tablespoons of Aloe Leaf Juice
🔸️1 Teaspoon vitamin E oil
🔸️4 drops lavender essential oil of choice
🔸️A pint sized mason jar
🔸️A small glass jar to store your lotion
➡️Add the Shea butter and Jojoba oil to a pint sized mason jar
➡️Place a saucepan on the stove and add a cup of water to it-turn on the heat to medium high
➡️Place the mason jar in the saucepan and stir-slowly melting the Shea butter with the jojoba oil.
➡️Once the Shea butter and jojoba oil is completely melted add the aloe juice to the mason jar-(the aloe should be luke warm)
➡️With a hand held immersion blender or food processor -whip the product for at least 5 minutes
➡️Add in your essential oil and pour into a small jar
➡️Store you face lotion in a sealed glass far and use within 3 months
* This WILL NOT work if you swap out the jojoba oil for another type of oil. Jojoba is actually a wax and it is what helps emulsify the aloe water into the rest of the ingredients. Make sure you whip the product well so that the liquid completely blends into jojoba and shea butter.
Will you try it out? 😊
