You know what I find really surprising and odd? We keep inventing those facilities, those machines that are supposed to get us more time yet we keep lacking it. We now have washing machines that do laundry for us yet we’re still in a hurry. We’ve got dishwashers that get dishes clean for us which normally took plenty time yet we still don’t have enough time for anything. We even got diet caterings (which I got addicted to this month) thanks to whom we don’t have to cook or do grocery shopping.
We keep buying more time in order to keep loosing it doing something else.
Aren’t you tired of that rat race? Of constantly being in rush? Of running from one place to another with your tongue out? I sure am.
We live in great times when we have somany machines doing stuff for us, we live in times when we should have so much more time than our ancestors who had to do everything manually yet we still don’t have it. Many years ago people started escaping from nature into the city to find a better life yet now we run away from city into nature to catch a breath. Does it apply to you?
This needs to STOP.
We all need to slow down. And the easiest way is to start appreciating here & now. Don’t rush from one task to another, don’t take anything for granted and learn to make time. That’s right, sometimes it is not about having time but making time. If you have those machines running and doing laundry, dishes or dinner for you don’t use that time to get soaked into more work, use it with your loved ones, with your family, reading a good book or simply connecting to nature.
Of course it is convenient and helpful to use that extra time (while you have that laundry or anything else done for you by a machine) to do something else but don’t overuse it.
It is all about that healthy balance to be able to divide your time this way to both have some work done but also to have propper rest and to spend your free time nicely. I am a workaholic and tend to put loads of work/project on me but I never work past 9pm or on weekends. This is my time to rest, to reload, to connect with family, friends and nature or to travel around the world and enjoy its charm 🙂
We all have bad days from time to time. Dwayne Johnson, Elon Musk, J.K. Rowling or whoevere your mentor is, have them too. And that’s ok. 👍
You don’t have to shine everyday, you’re not a Sun! 😉
If you’re feeling off, just take a day off. Have good sleep 🛌, meditate and calm yourself 🧘🏼♀️, watch a good movie 🎬 and relax 😇. Get yourself some new energy to get up the next day and get back on your track. 🤩
The worst thing you can do on a day like this is to keep pushing even though you don’t feel like it. Honestly. ⚠️
Why? Because you’ll only get discouraged and you’ll most likely give up on your dreams.👎 Days like this are most common reason why people give up. Because they push too hard, because it makes them not like the path they’re going, because it repels them from going forward.
You’re not feeling well? Don’t push it. Have a day off and get back to your dreams tomorrow.

Do you know when to stop & relax?
Are you setting yourself goals that you NEED TO do before taking some time off?
You need to know when to stop.⚠️
There will always be something to do but you need to learn to put it aside undone and have some time for yourself. You won’t work well without rest anyway!
It was hard for me, some time ago, to stop working and start chilling when I didn’t finish what I was doing. I kept going and going until it was done.
Today I set myself times when I start relax time and when it comes I just leave work and go rest. For example, I work till 9pm at my music agency or blog stuff (or doing chores at home or anything else) and whatever I manage to do till that time will be done and the rest I’ll do the next day. The world won’t end if I do the laundry the next day or send some emails the following morning. 🤷🏼♀️
You need to proritise your relax time too. Don’t push it further and further. Just put work/chores/anything else aside and chill. You’ll get back to that tomorrow.
It’s not only about small one-day activities. We keep setting new goals one after another after another. We succeeded in one thing, we got to our finish line and we want more and more and we keep pushing our finish line further and further instead of appreciating what we’ve achieved in the 1st place.🤷🏼♀️
Don’t run forward. Stop and rest from time to time. Celebrate your successes, enjoy what you achieved, have some rest and then set new goals.😘 —

Go into the weekend wiser and with more experience than a week ago.
Sum up your week – what have you achieved, what has failed, what have you done right and what wrong. Congratulate yourself on your successes and learn from the things that went wrong (DON’T punish yourself or feel bad about them. It was a lesson not a failure!). Think about the next week. What do you need to work on to not make same mistakes anymore. What do you have to do to get closer to your goal. Organize that week.
And now go rest. Go enjoy the weekend. Turn your mind off, be here & now and get back to work on Monday with new motivation and new energy!
Today I want to talk to you about sleep. Having a good night sleep and feeling rested in the morning has enormous effect on your mood so it is important to make sure you sleep well. ⚠️ Here’s 12 facts about SLEEPING.💤
1.It is very important what you do 2-3h before sleeping. When you fall asleep while overthinking, the mind remains active as if you were awake which is why you tend to wake up tired. Try to relax before sleep time. Also, don’t look at blue light (so no phones, no tv) at least 30min before bed time 🚫📱
2.Bedroom should be only used for sleeping (and sex). You shouldn’t work in bed, watch tv or even read books. Make sure that your brain connects bed only with rest. This way your mind will reprogram into „a sleeping mode” when you go to bed and you’ll fall asleep easier. Bed is not a place for work! 🛌
3.Medically speaking, it would be best if your bedroom had only bed in it and nothing more. If you can do it. Especially get rid of radios, TV and computers 🚫🖥
4.When you wake up in the middle of the night don’t check what time it is 🕜
5.Find your rhythm and try to go to sleep at the same time everyday and get up at the same time 🌠
6.Make sure it is as dark in your bedroom as it can get. The darker the better. It helps your body produce melatonin (an important hormone) 🌃
7.Make sure it is quiet. No clock that tick tocks, no humming sound, nothing. It should be total silence there 🔇
8.The older you get the less sleep you need. When 20-30 years old you need 7.5-8h of sleep everyday; 30-40 around 7h. When you’re over 40 only 6h of sleep will be enough and over 50 even 5h will do. But! Sleeping for less than five hours any night decreases the productivity of your immune system, metabolism and the body’s response to stress 🤯
9.Good sleep makes you more creative and makes your memory stronger 🧠
10.Lack of a good night sleep makes it difficult to absorb new things 🤷🏼♀️
11.Getting more sleep will decrease your chances of experiencing and being more affected by negative emotions☺
12.The happier you are, the less sleep you require to function in everyday life. Sadness increases the urge to sleep more 🤗
Do yourself a favour and go rest. Yes, that’s right, go relax! While i’m so encouraging everybody to work hard on your dreams, to put yourself out there and work work work, to skip some parties and focus on self-evolving („Study while others are sleeping; work while others are loafing; prepare while others are playing; and dream while others are wishing” as one of my favourite quotes says) it is good to let go from time to time too. Let loose. It’s not just good, it’s actually important for your brain and body. You can’t study all the time. You can’t work 24/7. Your brain needs that break. And i’m not talking about sleeping time, you need some free time during the day too.
I kept thinking that watching some silly TV shows or playing PS4 was a waste of time and i felt bad that i was doing that (cause i love TV show and PS4!) instead of working, focusing on my dreams. Not anymore! It is scientifically proven that lazy days/afternoons are important and that results of your work will be better and you’ll work more efficiently if you have breaks from time to time than if you work for couple hours straight. It’s not just about your work, your job, it’s also about your dreams. Don’t get too obsessed with your goals. It won’t happen over night anyway. Take your time. Take some time off. You’ll notice that you have better ideas and you’ll be more willing to work after your relax time.
The same thing is with studying. The best way to learn is to chop all the things you need to get into your brain into smaller pieces and study it 20min by heart, totally focused, then take 10-15min break. Then study again for 20minutes, then take a break. It is much more effective for your brain to remember all the things you need to!
If you feel tired, that you’ve had enough, that you’re not passionato about what you’re doing anymore – TAKE A BREAK. It can be 1 full day of not doing anything productive, it can be a week, just do it!
So tell me, what kind of person are you? Do you work hard on your dreams? Or do you take most of your time off and relax?
