🔸️ 25. Give up the need for approval from others 😉
🔸️ 26. Be realistic. There is no person on this earth that is happy every single moment of every single day. You know why? Because we are all human 😉. The key is to stay positive DESPITE the negative situations 😀
🔸️ 27. Let go of past trauma and wounds. This can be a really tough one and it may be one of those times you need to turn to others for support. We don’t have to carry that around with us anymore. We deserve better 🤗
🔸️ 28. Find your happy place ❤. Where’s the one place you feel totally at ease, calm, happy, positive, high on life? Go to that place when you are going through hard times, or imagine yourself being there. Think about how it feels, what it smells like, what it looks like.
🔸️ 29. Remember that problems and/or tough situations make us stronger, wiser and better! We should learn from them and never give up! 😊
🔸️ 30. Have fun! 😜 Get out there and do the things that light your fire. Enjoy them, enjoy being you and enjoy your incredible life.

🔸️ 19. Embrace and love the things that make you different 💜. This is what makes you special.
🔸️ 20. Realize that beauty cannot be defined. It is what you see it as. Don’t let any of those Photoshopped magazines make you feel like your body isn’t perfect. Even those models don’t look like that in real life 😉
🔸️ 21. Follow your passion 🤩. You know that thing that gets you so excited but scares you at the same time. The thing you really want to do but have convinced yourself it won’t work. You should go do that!
🔸️ 22. Be patient but persistent 💪. Self-love needs to be practiced daily but can take a lifetime to master. So be kind and support yourself through the hard times.
🔸️ 23. Treat others with love and respect ❤🙏. Treat others how you want to be treated. That doesn’t mean everybody will always repay the favor, but that’s their problem not yours.
🔸️ 24. Learn to say ‘no’. Saying ‘no’ sometimes doesn’t make you a bad person, it makes you a smart person 😉

🔸️13. Start each day by telling yourself something really positive 🤗. How well you managed to do something, how lovely you look today. Anything that you would say to your friend to make her/him smile – tell that to yourself! 😁
🔸️14. Eat healthy! 🥦 Fill your body with food and drink that nourishes it and makes it thrive.
🔸️15. Don’t believe everything you think 🚫. There is an inner critic inside of us trying to keep us small and safe, remember about that!
🔸️16. Surround yourself with positive people who love and encourage you 💞. Support each other, help each, be good to each other!
🔸️17. Stop the comparisons. There is no one on this planet like you we are all unique in our own way and that’s what makes this world beautiful! 😍
🔸️18. Step outside of your comfort zone and try something new 🤩. It’s incredible the feeling we get when we realize we have achieved something we didn’t know or think we could do before.

30 ways of practicing self-love/self-care:
🔸️ 7. Have some propper me-time. If you don’t live by yourself be open about it and simply ask your partner or roommate to leave you by youreslf because you need some time by yourself. I learned that last year to simply tell my husband that I need e.g. to watch some girly movie by myself, I leave him by himself in living room and go to bedroom to have some me-time 😉
🔸️ 8. Practice gratitude 🙏 – we have so many things to be grateful for! Your health, your close ones, roof over your head, your surrounding… notice what you really have! 😊 So many people lack it and dream of those things!
🔸️ 9. Be creative! 🤩 Put your emotions on paper and write a story or take some paints and try painting! 🎨 If you’re not a fan of those 2 activities you can try decoupaging, knitting, taking pictures, singing, playing some instruments… there are so many ways to be creative! 🤗 This is what got me through lockdown! Coloring is what makes me relaxed, gets my thoughts away and lets me calm down so I got this BrushMe set 😀 – you get a painting with a set of paints with numbers and all you need to do is to paint right color in the right spot and you can create an amazing picture like I did here! Have you tried one of those?
🔸️ 10. Spend as much time in nature as possible! 😍 Especially now, in the spring/summer! 🌞 Fresh air and nice views make us calmer and more energetic!
🔸️ 11. End all toxic relationships 😉. Anyone who makes you feel anything less than amazing doesn’t deserve to be a part of your life. If you get/havve a hater in social media – block him/her immediately. We don’t need that 🚫
🔸️ 12. Celebrate your wins no matter how big or small 😀. Pat yourself on the back and be proud of what you have achieved!

Starting today for next 5 self-love posts that I share on Thursdays we’re gonna go through 30 ways of practicing self-love and self-care 😊. Start loving yourself! That’s first step to being happy!
1-6 ways of practicing self-love/self-care:
🔸️ 1. Write a love letter to yourself. Write down everything you like/love about yourself 😍
🔸️ 2. Learn when to stop and relax. We all live in crazy speed and that’s not healthy. Try to plan at least 1 day a week for regeneration when you have the time to think, to listen to music, to meditate or even to just lay down and do nothing 🤗.
🔸️ 3. Find time for your close ones. You can’t work all the time 😉. Take that 1 evening off and go out, meet with your friends, your family
🔸️ 4. Be active! Do you remember my post last week about happy hormones (if not, you should! It’s under a pink photo with a bubble gum 😉)? We’ve learned that working out and being physically active boosts production of endorphins 🤗
🔸️ 5. Learn to forgive yourself. IF you’ve made some mistake, even a big one, it’s already in the past, what is done is done. Try to draw conclusions and use it as experience of what not to do in the future 😘. But most importantly – don’t be angry with yourself!
🔸️6. Have good sleep 😴! It is highly important to function well! What can you do to sleep well? Don’t dring too much coffee or black tea, try not to stress that much and don’t work too much 😅
Today I highly encourage you to create new reward system, now regarding maintaining the change 🏆
Start rewarding with complimenting yourself on even smallest successes 🤗. I know it may not be easy and you are probably not used to catching on your sucesses but more on your mistakes or failures 🤔. It is worth though to try it out and redirect your attention to progress and accomplishments 🤩.
If you are having problem with that write down all the compliments you like to hear and use them on every occassion of even smallest acomplishments 😎. Every day. If nothing comes to your mind try those examples: „You’re doing great!”, „Good job!”, „Keep going!” 👏
Another step of conscious rewarding yourself is to create reward system, for example once a week or once a month 😊. Let it be something that will make you very happy (but won’t be a conflict to your main goal) 😀

➡️ Watermelon Juice And Yogurt Face Mask For Glowing Skin 🤩
Yogurt is known do to wonders for our skin and hair. The combination of watermelon juice and yogurt can give you a supple and radiant skin. Regular use of this face mask will makes your skin look younger and healthier 😊.
Take a small bowl and add half cup of watermelon juice in it. Add one tablespoon of yogurt, and mix both the ingredients well. Apply the face mask on your face and neck, and let it stay for 20 minutes. Wash it off with cold water. 🤗
➡️ Watermelon And Lemon Juice For Dry Skin 😊
If you have a dry skin, then bring this face mask to your rescue. Lemon will gently exfoliate your dry, dead skin cells, whereas honey and watermelon juice will moisturise and hydrate your rough skin 😁
Take 2 tablespoons of watermelon juice in a small bowl; add one tablespoon of lemon juice and one teaspoon of honey in it. Mix all the ingredients very well. Apply this face mask on your face and neck. Let it stay for 10 to 15 minutes, then wash it off with water 😊
➡️ Watermelon And Raw Milk For Brighter Skin
Milk is a great cleanser, especially raw milk, which makes your complexion fairer and brighter. It is also a great moisturiser that is known to heal dry skin cells. Milk is also known to treat sunburns and sunspots. Watermelon juice will rejuvenate your face and give you a fresh look 😎
Take one tablespoon of watermelon juice in a bowl. Add one tablespoon of raw milk, and mix them well. Apply the mask on your clean face and let it stay for 20 to 25 minutes. Wash it off with cold water 😊

As you may know there are 4 basic hormones that impact our mood and feeling of happiness:
Now how to make them work and make you happy? Easy! Just try out the activities that boost those hormones! ☺
For dopamine, the reward chemical, try:
➡️ eating yummy food (this is why I can’t get through any diet, eating gives me too much joy! 😅)
➡️ achieving a goal
➡️ completing a task (with last two remember to set small goals and small tasks – this way you’ll get a dose of dopamine)
➡️ self-care activities (check out self-care challenge we did in February – you’ll find it in my Stories Highlights)
For endorphin, the pain killer you’ll need:
➡️ exercising 💪
➡️ listening to music 🎶
➡️ watching a movie 🎬 (I think you know by know where and when to look for Positive Movies Recommendations! If you don’t – I post them here every Sunday)
➡️ laughter 😂
To boost oxytocin, known as the love hormone, those activities will work:
➡️ physical touch
➡️ petting animals 🐶🐈
➡️ helping others
And last but not least – serotonin, the mood stabilizers:
➡️ Sun exposure 🌞
➡️ mindfullness (see Chill Sessions in my Stories Highlights) 🙏
➡️ be with nature (spring is here, enjoy it!)
➡️ meditation 🧘🏼♀️

This Lemon Sugar Scrub Recipe makes a great-smelling, rejuvenating sugar scrub that you can either use yourself or package in a pretty jar or mason jar to make a thoughtful and homemade gift 🤗🎁
🔸️1/2 cup Sugar
🔸️ 1/4 cup Coconut Oil 🥥
🔸️1 Lemon 🍋
🔸️ Optional: A few drops of Lemon Essential Oil
➡️Pour sugar into bowl.
➡️Squeeze lemon juice and add to sugar.
➡️Mix in coconut oil (add more if you like a wet consistency).
➡️Zest lemon and add to mixture (reserve a little to garnish top of scrub in jar).
➡️Add your sugars to the jar.
➡️Add a printable label to the front and maybe a ribbon to gift.
Why is self-care so important? 🤔
First of all when you take care of yourself, when you are rested and calm you look at world differently!
I got to a point couple months ago when I was so tired and so burnt out that nothing was bringing me joy, I was tired, stressed and annoyed all the time 🙄 When one small thing went wrong I’d instantly explode like a bomb.
And then I finally learned to rest, to take care of myself, to have some me-time and I felt so much better! Not only I felt rested, calmer and was doing everyday duties or working on my projects with a smile on my face 😊 but also I wasn’t so tense and e.g. I wouldn’t explode when something unexpected happened or when something went wrong 😊 I was happy and excited to work again! I was nice to people around me again 🤗
Second of all, you can’t feed others from an empty bowl! So you can’t take care of others unless you take care of yourself first! 😉 You NEED to be joyful, calm and rested to be able to help others and to be happy about it 😊
