🔸️ 25. Give up the need for approval from others 😉
🔸️ 26. Be realistic. There is no person on this earth that is happy every single moment of every single day. You know why? Because we are all human 😉. The key is to stay positive DESPITE the negative situations 😀
🔸️ 27. Let go of past trauma and wounds. This can be a really tough one and it may be one of those times you need to turn to others for support. We don’t have to carry that around with us anymore. We deserve better 🤗
🔸️ 28. Find your happy place ❤. Where’s the one place you feel totally at ease, calm, happy, positive, high on life? Go to that place when you are going through hard times, or imagine yourself being there. Think about how it feels, what it smells like, what it looks like.
🔸️ 29. Remember that problems and/or tough situations make us stronger, wiser and better! We should learn from them and never give up! 😊
🔸️ 30. Have fun! 😜 Get out there and do the things that light your fire. Enjoy them, enjoy being you and enjoy your incredible life.

🔸️ 19. Embrace and love the things that make you different 💜. This is what makes you special.
🔸️ 20. Realize that beauty cannot be defined. It is what you see it as. Don’t let any of those Photoshopped magazines make you feel like your body isn’t perfect. Even those models don’t look like that in real life 😉
🔸️ 21. Follow your passion 🤩. You know that thing that gets you so excited but scares you at the same time. The thing you really want to do but have convinced yourself it won’t work. You should go do that!
🔸️ 22. Be patient but persistent 💪. Self-love needs to be practiced daily but can take a lifetime to master. So be kind and support yourself through the hard times.
🔸️ 23. Treat others with love and respect ❤🙏. Treat others how you want to be treated. That doesn’t mean everybody will always repay the favor, but that’s their problem not yours.
🔸️ 24. Learn to say ‘no’. Saying ‘no’ sometimes doesn’t make you a bad person, it makes you a smart person 😉
Starting today for next 5 self-love posts that I share on Thursdays we’re gonna go through 30 ways of practicing self-love and self-care 😊. Start loving yourself! That’s first step to being happy!
1-6 ways of practicing self-love/self-care:
🔸️ 1. Write a love letter to yourself. Write down everything you like/love about yourself 😍
🔸️ 2. Learn when to stop and relax. We all live in crazy speed and that’s not healthy. Try to plan at least 1 day a week for regeneration when you have the time to think, to listen to music, to meditate or even to just lay down and do nothing 🤗.
🔸️ 3. Find time for your close ones. You can’t work all the time 😉. Take that 1 evening off and go out, meet with your friends, your family
🔸️ 4. Be active! Do you remember my post last week about happy hormones (if not, you should! It’s under a pink photo with a bubble gum 😉)? We’ve learned that working out and being physically active boosts production of endorphins 🤗
🔸️ 5. Learn to forgive yourself. IF you’ve made some mistake, even a big one, it’s already in the past, what is done is done. Try to draw conclusions and use it as experience of what not to do in the future 😘. But most importantly – don’t be angry with yourself!
🔸️6. Have good sleep 😴! It is highly important to function well! What can you do to sleep well? Don’t dring too much coffee or black tea, try not to stress that much and don’t work too much 😅

As you may know there are 4 basic hormones that impact our mood and feeling of happiness:
Now how to make them work and make you happy? Easy! Just try out the activities that boost those hormones! ☺
For dopamine, the reward chemical, try:
➡️ eating yummy food (this is why I can’t get through any diet, eating gives me too much joy! 😅)
➡️ achieving a goal
➡️ completing a task (with last two remember to set small goals and small tasks – this way you’ll get a dose of dopamine)
➡️ self-care activities (check out self-care challenge we did in February – you’ll find it in my Stories Highlights)
For endorphin, the pain killer you’ll need:
➡️ exercising 💪
➡️ listening to music 🎶
➡️ watching a movie 🎬 (I think you know by know where and when to look for Positive Movies Recommendations! If you don’t – I post them here every Sunday)
➡️ laughter 😂
To boost oxytocin, known as the love hormone, those activities will work:
➡️ physical touch
➡️ petting animals 🐶🐈
➡️ helping others
And last but not least – serotonin, the mood stabilizers:
➡️ Sun exposure 🌞
➡️ mindfullness (see Chill Sessions in my Stories Highlights) 🙏
➡️ be with nature (spring is here, enjoy it!)
➡️ meditation 🧘🏼♀️

💥Immune Booster Shot Recipe
This immune booster shot recipe has everything you need to raise that immune system 🤩! It’s jam packed with immune boosting ingredients 😉
🔸️ 1 tablespoon honey 🍯
🔸️ juice of 1 lemon 🍋
🔸️ juice of 1 orange 🍊
🔸️1-2 cloves garlic minced
🔸️1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
🔸️1 dash of cayenne pepper
🔸️1 dash of real sea salt
🔸️1 dash cinnamon
🔸️¼ teaspoon turmeric
🔸️Grind of black pepper
🔸️1 tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar
🔸️1 tablespoon hot water
➡️Mince the garlic (ideally put through a garlic press) and set aside for 10 minutes ⏰. This gives the enzymes a chance to form and ensures maximum benefits 😍.
➡️Whisk together the honey, turmeric, and hot water, until the honey is incorporated and smooth.Then you just stir in everything else and drink! 🤗
💥 Glow Boosting Apple Carrot Juice 😋
Carrots, apples, and oranges are a winning combination for helping your body protect itself and fight off infections 😁
The apples and oranges give you your vitamin C 🤩
Vitamin A, which is also critical to a healthy immune system, is present in carrots in the form of the antioxidant beta carotene 😍.
🔸️2 large carrots 🥕
🔸️2-3 apples 🍎
🔸️2 oranges 🍊
Optional: You can also add a thumb of ginger and/or lemon (great if you’re feeling under the weather)
➡️ Cut carrots and apples into pieces.
➡️Start juicing! Begin by adding the carrots into the juicer.

🔸️ DIY Nail Strengthener Recipe
This recipe comes from Trabazini at The Spa at Monteverdi Tuscany with an add-in provided by Correa.
2 Tablespoons of olive oil
1 Tablespoons of lemon juice 🍋
1 Teaspoon of chopped garlic (optional add-in)
➡️ Mix the ingredients in a bowl. Soak your nails in the mixture for about 10 minutes.
➡️ You can add a teaspoon of chopped garlic to the recipe and make a paste.
➡️ Repeat two to three times per week.
🔸️ DIY Nail Strengthening Intensive Mask
This recipe comes from Trabazini at The Spa at Monteverdi Tuscany.
2 Tablespoons of shea butter
1 Tablespoon of olive oil
2 drops of rose essential oil
➡️ Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Apply the mask on the hands and nails, massaging for a few seconds.
➡️ Then cover the hands with cotton gloves and leave on for 20 minutes.
➡️ Do the treatment once a week.
🔸️ DIY Cuticle Oil Recipe
This recipe comes from Pink who says, “Jojoba oil nourishes the skin, promotes nail growth, and helps repair the strength of the nail bed. Tea tree oil is an antiseptic and helps keep fungus at bay.”
1/2 oz jojoba oil
1 to 2 drops tea tree oil
➡️ Pour the jojoba oil and tea tree oil into an ultraviolet glass pipette dropper bottle, swish together and seal the bottle.
➡️ In the evening just before bedtime, place one drop of oil onto each fingernail and toenail and massage into cuticles.
Winter is so bad for hair! 😖 They get weaker and weaker with every temperature change and constant putting a hat on and off makes them electrify and dry 💔
Try this homemade hair mask to repair them 🤗
➡️ 1. Almond & egg
🔸️1/4 cup almond oil
🔸️1 raw egg 🥚
Combine the almond oil and egg until you get a smooth mixture. Optionally you can just whisk the egg and apply it to your hair 🤗
Section your hair and start applying the mixture to your scalp and through the length of your hair. 😊
Wait for 40 minutes and then rinse your hair as usual.
Use a good shampoo and conditioner, preferably one without sulfates.
Almond oil acts as an emollient.The egg repairs damage in the hair shaft with its high protein content. This is considered to be one of the best remedies for frizz ☺
➡️ 2.Beer mask! 😜
You Will Need
🔸️ 1 pint of beer 🍺
Decarbonate your beer by pouring it into a bowl. Let it sit overnight until it goes flat.
Wash your hair with shampoo and then pour the beer through your hair while massaging your scalp.
Rinse the beer out with cold water. 😊
Beer restores moisture and nourishes your hair 😀. It is also used as a cleansing rinse that removes build-up. This helps keep your cuticles healthy.
➡️ 3.Honey And Yogurt
You Will Need
🔸️2-3 tablespoons yogurt
🔸️1 tablespoon honey 🍯
Mix the honey and yogurt in a bowl.
Apply the mixture on your scalp and hair. Leave it on for 30 minutes.
Wash with cold water. 😊
Do this once a week to restore moisture and maintain your hair.
Yogurt is an effective deep conditioner and honey helps in retaining moisture. It also acts as an emollient and makes hair smoother and shinier. 🤗

I don’t think there’s any other holiday that brings that much pressure 😰
Before you start comparing yourself or your relationship to others while scrolling Instagram and seeing photos from so-to-seem perfect dates, 🙄 remember that what people post on Instagram isn’t their everyday life 😉. We all pick a photo that we look good on 🤩, we all pick a moment we are happy about ☺ and we usually share good news and positive things about ourselves 👍.
Just because a couple posts a picture of them smiling and having a romantic evening, it doesn’t mean they don’t fight, they don’t have any bad moments or bad days 🤷🏼♀️
No one is perfect and there’s no such thing as a perfect couple 😉. We all have ups and downs. I fight with my husband too and that’s normal 🤷🏼♀️
Another thing – before you start comparing your partner to others and before you become overcritical remember that there are other ways to say „I love you” than buying flowers 🌹 or expensive gifts 🎁. If your partner doesn’t say „I love you” often it doesn’t mean that he/she doesn’t 😉. Maybe he/she’s just not that into words but shows it in everyday small deeds? 🤗 Like covering you with a blanket when you fall asleep on a couch? 😴 Or making you hot lemon tea when you don’t feel that well? 🤧 Or making you a sandwhich even though he/she is tired and doesn’t feel like getting up from couch? 🥪 Those are all acts of love too, remember 😉
And lastly – if you’re single and don’t celebrate V-Day at all just take it easy 🤗. Being single is not bad and you should NOT feel sad that you’re not on some romantic date or that you didn’t get any flowers 😉. Buy yourself flowers ⚘, cook yourself a nice meal 🥘, spend a lovely evening with yourself or maybe with another friend who’s single 😊?
Even thought I celebrate V-Day now with my husband, I’ve been single for 24 years before 😉 and believe me, I’ve been there and I know the feeling but there’s no need to be sad about some holiday, just get out and live that day as any other! 😁
This Lemon Sugar Scrub 🍋 Recipe makes a great-smelling, rejuvenating sugar scrub that you can either use yourself 🧖♀️ or package in a pretty jar or mason jar to make a thoughtful and homemade gift 🎁.
1/2 cup Sugar 🍚
1/4 cup Coconut Oil 🥥
1 Lemon 🍋
Optional: A few drops of Lemon Essential Oil
➡️ Pour sugar into bowl.
➡️ Squeeze lemon juice and add to sugar
➡️ Mix in coconut oil (add more if you like a wet consistency).
➡️ Zest lemon and add to mixture (reserve a little to garnish top of scrub in jar).
➡️ Add your sugars to the jar.
➡️ Add a printable label to the front and maybe a ribbon to gift🎁

Which time are you most present in normally? 🤔 Deep into the past, fully soaked into memories, remembering good old days 💭; in the present focusing on present moment and present emotions or in the future 🔜, constantly planning what to do next 📅, creating ‘to do’ lists for upcoming day/week/month? 🤷🏼♀️
If you’re in the past or in the future, do everything you can to change that and to go… BACK TO THE PRESENT! 🔙 You won’t enjoy Christmas or, for that matter, your whole life, if you’re not present here & now! 😉 You won’t be happy and calm if you’re constantly somewhere in the past in your mind or constantly running towards future! 🤷🏼♀️
Notice what’s happening around you NOW ⬇️, what’s the taste of the meal you’re eating, what does it smell like in the room, what do you feel…be here & now! 🤗
I gotta say that lately I’ve been constantly in the future – planning upcoming posts, upcoming days, weeks…I’ve been deep in December in my mind since the end of October as I’ve been planning and preparing everything for Smiley Advent Calendar 😅 Constantly couple days ahead of myself. STOP! 🛑 This is not how it should look like and I can’t wait for Christmas to stop it all and to just be present 😍. To rest and not plan anything. To concentrate on Xmas meals and their taste, to smell the Xmas tree, to be here & now 🤩
