Getting through problems

This year has been tough 😖, not only Covid-wise but I’ve been robbed & tricked recently 🙄, my grandma passed away 🖤, I’ve lost some friends 💔, I’ve had plenty days when I felt powerless…
I cried a lot, been shuting everything away and been hiding at home 😶
:::
But I’m not telling you all this to make you feed sorry for me, no no. I’m telling you all this to show you that happy & positive people aren’t people without problems 😉. Happy & positive people are positive DESPITE their problems 💪
:::
Everyone has some problems, each one of us is battling with something but the key is to not give up, to get through it and stand up wiser and stronger 💪.
:::
I know I have learned a lot through my last experiences and definitely won’t make some mistakes again. You should learn from your problems and/or mistakes too! 😀
:::
Chin up, it will be all good! 😊
Just focus on the positive, throw some strawberries 😜 and enjoy life! 😊

Smiley Future – Step 68

Today we’re gonna continue summing everything up ✔. I highly encourage you to reflect on what subjects were most important to you, what did you discover about yourself? 🧐 To make it easier here’s a list of the subjects we went through:
🔸️Training strong will
🔸️Mind traps
🔸️Be good to yourself
🔸️Procrastinating
🔸️Deffering gratification
🔸️Sabotaging thoughts
🔸️Emotions vs will power
🔸️Mindfullness
🔸️Practicing gratitude
:::
Which out of those subjects touched you the most, made you reflect most, opened your eyes? 🤔
Will those be helpful in the future? How can you use them?
Write down your thoughts 📝

Smiley Future – Step 67

Time for summing up 🤩. It is a very important moment, in which you should pay full attention. Why? 🤔 Because every path leading to a long-term goal is about learning something new 🤗. You find out plenty new things about yourself, you have a change to draw conclusions from your strong and weak points, successes, mistakes and failures.
:::
Let’s start summing up with analyzing success and strong points. Answer those questions:
➡️ What have you acomplished during this challenge?
➡️ What new habits, tools or knowledge have you started using in practice?
➡️ What have you managed to do?
➡️ How close did you get to reaching goal? Where were you in the begging of this challenge and where are you now?
➡️ What advantages and strong points do you notice now, from time perspective? Maybe you’ve managed to discover or appreciate more some of your resources (internal or external) that you haven’t seen before?
:::
Second part of summing up is about mistakes, failures and mishaps that have come along the way and thank to which you can learn new things about yourself 😉. Remember to avoid excessive self-criticism and blaming yourself. You’re doing this summing up in order to uses this experience and learn from it 👍. Be good to yourself and understanding. Remember: the only person who doesn’t make mistakes is a person who doesn’t do anything at all! 😉
:::
Answer those questions:
➡️ What was hard, what have you not managed to achieve? Why did you think it happened?
➡️ What knowledge have you gained because of it?
➡️ What discoveries about yourself will be useful in the future, while reaching other goals?
➡️ What  did your difficulties come from? What helped or what could help next time?
:::
In the end thank yourself for the perseverance and courage 🙏. Thanks to it you try, you make mistakes and learn new things about yourself in order to take another step forward ➡️

Smiley Future – Step 62

How to maintain change? 🤔
:::
First hint is so obvious that it is actually common to miss out on by thinking „it will all work out itself” 🤷🏼‍♀️. And here it is: think how do you plan to maintain the change.
:::
Write your answer down and create a initial plan, of course using SMART method (see step 6) 🧐
:::
Task for today: focus on first 2 criteria of SMART method and try making your plan specific and measurable 📏📐
:::
For example, if you lost weight, improved your stamina 💪 and started having new nutritional habits, now in order to maintain it you probably don’t need to keep working out as often as you have but you can’t just sit down and get back to lazy life on sofa! 😉
:::
So you might (and should) plan to work out e.g. 3 times a week instead of 5-6. Choose form of your workouts (fitness, gym, jogging?) and plan it out in your calendar 📅
:::
If you e.g. learned a new language you also need to keep working on it, practicing etc .
Same with every finished project! 😉
:::
Now let’s have that coffee, a small bite of a macaroon and get to work! 😀

Try seeing the world from other perspective!

You know how it said that you need to change in order to grow? 🤔 You need to change your mindset, your thoughts and sometimes your perspective too! 😉
:::
It is highly possible that when you think about something while being in a different mood you’ll feel different about it 😉. That’s why we say „sleep on it” when we want somebody to make a decision on something. Because it works! You might feel different about some subject the next day 🤗
:::
Same way you might feel different about something in several years 😉. As time passes you become wiser, you gain experience, your character changes so your decisions might change too 😉. Just think about some decisions you’ve made in last couple years. Would you do everything same way now? 🤔 Probably not. That’s why it is always important to think about future and about future you when making some important decision 😀
:::
On another point – try seeing things from other perspective when listening to others’ decisions too! ⚠️ People keep judging somebody’s choices but what might not be good for you might be good for someone else! 😉 When judging others we need to remember that we are all different! ⚠️
:::
I used to get mad when my husband didn’t plan or organize everything precisely 🙄, I used to get angry with my friend that he never remembers anything 😳 etc. It took some  time but finally I learned not to compare others to myself or other way round 😉. If I like being organized and/or have good memory it doesn’t mean that others are the same!
:::
Remember, in order to fully understand something or to make a good decision you need to see something from different perspectives, trying to get a wide spectrum on the subject so as to be objective and to make a wise decision 🤗

6 simple ways how to train your brain

➡️ 1. Read everyday 📖 – even 15-20min of reading a day can do the trick! You can always learn something new from any book, either some interesting fact about some culture, some historical fact or maybe some new word? 😉
➡️ 2. Play games 🀄 – Brain fitness programs and games are a wonderful way to tease and challenge your brain. Sudoku, crosswords and electronic games can all improve your brain’s speed and memory. I highly recommend Lumosity app! 🤗
➡️ 3. Excercise on a weekly basis 💪 – healthy body = healthy mind! 😉 When working out  you make your heart work faster which stimulates better blood circulation and brings more oxygen to your body and brain 🧠. It boosts your memory, improves your concentration, enhances your creativity etc! 🤗
➡️ 4. Get out of the comfort zone 💥 – when leaving your comfort zone you need to start thinking, you end up in a new situation, need to be creative, learn new skills etc. Great way to make your brain work! 😊
➡️ 5. Take time to meditate 🧘🏼‍♀️ – daily meditation is perhaps the single greatest thing you can do for your mind/body health 😊. Meditation not only relaxes you, it gives your brain a workout. By creating a different mental state, you engage your brain in new and interesting ways while increasing your brain fitness 🤩
➡️ 6. Keep learning new skills 📈 – learning a new skill works multiple areas of the brain. Your memory comes into play, you learn new movements and you associate things differently 😊. Reading Shakespeare, learning to cook and building an airplane out of toothpicks all will challenge your brain and give you something to think about 😁

Which one is your favourite?

Please remember, be good to yourself! 🙏

Nothing will happen, nothing will work, nothing will change for better, you won’t be happier, you won’t like yourself more, you won’t accept yourself if you’re doing it because of hatred to yourself 😞
:::
If you’re doing it out of fake intension, because you need to prove something to somebody, out of punishment or any negative reason, it simply won’t work 🤷🏼‍♀️. You won’t achieve your inner peace, you won’t be happy and/or anxiety free.
:::
First of all you need to understand that you don’t need to be the best, you don’t need to be the fastest, the smartest, the richest ⚠️. In fact, I’m gonna break it to you 😉 – there’s always going to be someone smarter, someone prettier and someone more successful than you, it’s just how it works 🤷🏼‍♀️
:::
You need to understand that you don’t HAVE TO do anything. Your attitude will change SO MUCH when you change the thinking and instead of thinking „I HAVE TO”, you’ll start thinking „I CAN” 🤗
I can change 😎
I can follow my dreams 😍
I can work hard and reach my goals 🤩
I can be better 💪
:::
You don’t have to be the best but try to be better each day, to grow, to self-develop ⬆️. But do all of that while being good to yourself. Don’t force yourself to anything, it won’t work. You should want to do it, desire it. Not feel like you NEED TO or HAVE TO do it.
Remember, it’s all about the attitude 😘
