Planning is my strenght πͺ Whenever I have a new dream to fulfill or new project I want to start working on I divide it into parts and plan it out throughout a week/month/year. Thanks to planning I know what step I need toΒ make to be closer to reaching my goal. When I have everything planned I feel calm because I have it all under control, all βin orderβ. Now itβs all gone.

We were supposed to go to Spain in April, obviously that didnβt happen but Iβd still like to go ASAP. The question is when? π€·πΌββοΈ When will it be ok to travel? Who knows? Time will tell π°.

But itβs not only about the travelling π. Due to economic crisis that weβll be dealing with right now we donβt know what we stand on financially π. Can I still go to Spain? Or should I keep all my savings as bad times might come β lower salary, maybe even losing a job? π€·πΌββοΈ

I wanted to focus on self-development this year. I wanted to do a photography course in the summer πΈ and go back to University in autumn to start doing another degree π©βπ. It all costs though. Should I still do it?

But letβs not panic β οΈ. These times are even more challenging than we all thought theyβd be but they will teach us SO MUCH! π€

I am sure we are all learning to appreciate what we have now. I might have tough times at work but I am still lucky to still be employed as so many people lost their jobs already π

Whatβs more, we are learning to be more here & now, to focus on present and live one day at a time π as it is so hard to plan anything π
. I am learning to stop planning far ahead and focus on present week and on whatβs happening now.

These times teach us to be always prepared for surprises, that you are never able to plan EVERYTHING out. They teach us to be patient π

I am more than sure that we will come out of the lockdown wiser, stronger and more patient πͺ. We just need to hold a bit longer. It will be all better soon! π

What if it is all a test? π€
To see whether you got your prorities set right? To see what youβre sad about when having to cancel all plans? To see if you can appreciate what you got? To see if youβre flexible making new plans, rearranging your schedules, building new paths, being creative? π€

We can learn so much these days β οΈ Not only about the world but about ourselves too π, about your closes ones whether think about you too these days, about your friends if they really care for you π

Have you learned something new about yourself? I, for example, started to notice that I really answer to problems/anxiety with work πͺ. I put more and more on myself trying to achieve as much as I can, to prove that Iβm good enough, to make myself proud, to feel calm once something is complete. This is they way I cope with stress – I work even more. Thatβs just me but Iβll work on that ππ

This is the time to observe, take notes and draw conclusions π This is the time to learn β οΈ. So that once itβs all over we can build new βnormalβ with the notes we took. We can use our lessons, our mistakes to set new goals, build new paths β οΈ

And Iβm not talking about you and me only. Iβm talking about all of us as one Earth-society π. We should all keep some of the actions we do now forever. Starting from taking more care abour our health and appreciating when weβre healthy π, from paying more attention to hygiene and washing our hands as often as we can π, from keeping healthy distance from one another in a shop, not standing on somebodyβs toes π
, letβs keep this personal space π, to helping one another π€, to spreading good deeds, to caring about strangers, not only about ourselves! π

We can build such a beautiful new world out of it with new, better priorities, better standards and better rules. π€©

A world where we can all appreciate what we got, care about others and are willing to help a stranger. π

What you should do is stay calm and relaxed π

We are all different and we react to current situation in a different way.

If you never had time for your projects/dreams and now you do, if you feel calmΒ & relaxed during this time and you feel productive and want to do something while being at home then definitely use thise time and get to work πͺ

BUT
If youβre feeling stressed, if youβre worrired about the future and canβt stay focused then let it go π Postpone your plans and dreams for better times and now work on your mental health π§πΌββοΈ
Work on your inner peace instead π

Use this time toΒ do whatever makes you calm and happy π€ If working on dreams and being productive makes you happy (like me π
) then yes, this time is great opportunity to get something done and walk out of quarantine with new skills and/or projects.

But if youβre not one of those people then ignore this pressure to DO SOMETHING, donβt read those posts that say βYou never lacked time, you lacked disciplineβ π and read mine instead!Β π

Turn tv off, turn social media off (apart from @smileysociety of course ππ), stop listening to news and just relax.
What’s happening out there, is happening out there π€·πΌββοΈ and as it doesn’t concern you as long as you are at home π‘.
Look at it as extra time at home to read a book you’ve always wanted to read, to watch a movie or tv shows everybody is telling you about π¬, to take up some new hobby like decoupage or playing guitar πΈ, do yoga π§πΌββοΈ, do home fitness πͺ or do coloring like me π
I find it sooo relaxing π
