Different worlds

In times like these some of everyday problems seem so unimportant.
I may be worried that my dish didn’t turn out as I’d wish while there are hundreds of thousands of people ‘next door’ who don’t have anything to eat ๐Ÿ˜”.
:::
I may be worried that there’s a stain on my favourite jumper and that it’s ruined while there are people freezing to death not that far away from me ๐Ÿ’”.
:::
I may be worried that I didn’t do as much as I wished at work this week while there are people without jobs and/or money who’d love to just get back to work, instead they’re fighting for their lives ๐Ÿ˜ช.
:::
I guess it’s always been like that, there’s always been a war somewhere in the world while I was watching Netflix, there’s always been people struggling to get any food while I overcooked a dinner, there’s always been people freezing somewhere in the world while I’ve been walking in my penguin onesie in my warm home.
:::
Sadly there’s always been people with better, beautiful lifes while other fight to survive ๐Ÿ’”
The key is to:
a) appreciate what we got, cherish every moment of our peaceful life with simple problems
AND
b) help those in need as much as we can.
:::
I LOVE my life. I love that I’m able to eat/cook anything I want ๐Ÿฅ‘๐Ÿฅ“๐Ÿ•. I love my apartment, the fact that I live in the city center and have everything close ๐Ÿก . I am grateful for my family and friends โค. I love that I am able to travel โœˆ๏ธ, to learn new things.
I just love it all.
:::
And you?
What do you like/love about your life?
What are you grateful for?

How to stay calm now?

Last 2 years have been hard to us all. First pandemic, now war (next door for us here in Poland ๐Ÿ˜ฌ).
We’re all tired, stressed, tired of being stressed…we need to take care of ourselves ๐Ÿ™ we need to take care of our minds โค
:::
How to stay calm now?
๐Ÿ”ธ๏ธ First of all, if watching news boosts your anxiety stop watching it! Either go online only for 10-15min to catch up on most important things to know what’s happening or, even better, ask your family/friends to inform you if there’d be something you really need to know about. Don’t spend hours watching photos/videos from the war.
๐Ÿ”ธ๏ธ Instead of constant reading about next victims ๐Ÿ’” read how you can help. There’s plenty foundations where you can donate. If you live in Poland, Moldova or Romania you can donate food, clothes, cosmetics, blankets for the refugees.
๐Ÿ”ธ๏ธ If that’s all too much for you you can cut off from all of that completely and keep on living your normal life, that’s totally fine and understandable. Focus on yourself and practice self-care.
๐Ÿ”ธ๏ธ If you find yourself panicking, take slow deep breaths, try meditating, go for a walk or soak in a warm bath. Do whatever makes you calm.
๐Ÿ”ธ๏ธWrite down all your questions, all your anxieties, let it all out.
๐Ÿ”ธ๏ธ Talk to your close ones about your concerns, hear them out (but please talk to people who know what they’re talking about, don’t spread fake news etc). Remember that you can always message me โค
